Company Process
One way that we have earned our reputation
is by maintaining control over our products. We do that by
keeping all our fabrication in-house. This has meant
long-term investments in reliable, high-quality
glass-processing equipment, including our own glass drills,
bevelers and polishing machines, and a state-of-the-art
computer-controlled glass cutting system. We therefore not
only maintain quality control, but we also reduce lead-times
considerably.
We carry an extensive inventory of raw
glass and mirrors, ranging in size up to 9' x 12'. We carry glass
ranging in thickness from 2.5mm to 19mm (that's 3/4"
thick!). Laminated glass, including 1/4", 3/8", and
1/2" are also kept in-stock.
Our glass comes to us in 4,000 pound
"packs" that have no packaging at all. Most glass companies
buy their glass in traditional wooden cases, which adds the
cost of lumber and boxing, not to mention the added costs
involved in handling the cases and disposing of the wasted
wood. Glass without wooden cases also takes less room to
store, which enables us to carry a wider assortment of
products in our plant.
